BEIJING(BdS)-Students from a university in Beijing were holding a candle light vigil in memoriam the victims of the 7.9 degree Sichuan earthquake, which took place last week on May 12.

BEIJING(BdS) -- The original Arachnid, according to the Greek mythology, was a girl, Arachne. Like all good Greek girls, she spent much of her time weaving, but she made the mistake claiming she was a better weaver than the goddess Athena. In a contest between the two, she angered the goddess by showing the gods at their worst in the pattern she wove. As punishment, Athena changed Arachne into a spider, fated to spend her life weaving.
